Distributed Control Systems in Industrial Intelligence

The HOLLiAS MACS series distributed control system is a new generation of DCS launched by Hollysys based on more than ten years of summarizing user needs and application characteristics of multiple industries, accumulating the development and application of three generations of DCS systems, and fully inheriting the high reliability and convenience of previous systems, integrating its own core technology with international advanced technology. It currently includes two models: HOLLiAS MACS-S system and HOLLiAS MACS-K system.

Openness

DCS is no longer a closed system. The MACS series can be easily and seamlessly integrated with third-party systems and devices through configuration without changing the system program. It supports PROFIBUS/HART/MODBUS and other internationally commonly used field buses, which can easily add third-party devices such as smart meters, PLCs and inverters. It provides software standard interfaces such as OPC/DDE/ODBC, which can directly exchange data with third-party applications.

Informationization

DCS has surpassed the positioning of a traditional control system. The MACS series organically integrates factory and process management to greatly improve the production efficiency of enterprises.

It can seamlessly integrate the manufacturing execution system (MES) to achieve the organic integration of control information and production management information.

It can seamlessly integrate the equipment management function (AMS) to achieve full electronic information management and maintenance of factory equipment.

It can connect to common enterprise management systems (ERP), making the field control layer a transparent coverage of enterprise management.

It can support remote access and browsing based on the Internet, so that process information can be mastered at any time even if you are in a different place.

Intelligence

All subcomponents of DCS are intelligent. The various components of the MACS series are coordinated and controlled through all-digital information.

Each I/O is equipped with a CPU chip to realize I/O channel-level fault diagnosis.

Each component can realize self-diagnosis and automatic alarm.

Miniaturization

The miniaturization of DCS is the general trend. The MACS series adopts low-power design, which greatly promotes the miniaturization of the system.

The typical power consumption of the main controller is about 6W, without any fan cooling, and the volume is reduced to one-tenth of the third-generation imported DCS main control.

The typical power consumption of the I/O module is about 2W, the volume is greatly reduced, and the reliability is further improved.

High reliability

The design concept of DCS is close to the security system. The MACS series widely uses technologies and devices that are only used in security protection systems.

Adopting deterministic real-time industrial Ethernet protocol, no matter how the communication load changes, there is no data collision, ensuring the reliability of the system network.

Adopting information redundancy technology to achieve data error correction.

Adopting data encryption technology to ensure blocking of illegal data access.

Fail-safe design technology is used to ensure that the channel remains in a safe state when a fault occurs.

International safety coding standards are used for software development.

Software test code coverage reaches 100%.

Greatly improve the self-diagnosis coverage of the system.
